Week 4 - Checking Up on the NFC East

With the Eagles with a bye week, I think it's a good time for a look, as do the other teams in the NFC East, so this season to take.

New York Giants (3-0)
Next opponent: Kansas City

I think the Giants, where most people would immediately think. It began with two games of the division, the Redskins and Cowboys won, and only by a combined eight points. Then they rolled into week three of the suppression Bucs 24-0.

EliManning is very good as far as throwing five touchdowns and just one interception with a 104.1 quarterback rating. He is completing nearly 65% of his passes and has tried, the league that he's worth big money, the Giants threw to show him this offseason.

The Giants no longer have a three headed monster on the ground, but Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshawn show that they are not present Derrick Ward too much. Bradshaw has plunging 201 meters, and Jacobs is with 196Meters above the ground through three games. These are very solid numbers, which are behind a solid offensive line and in the future.

The big question with the Giants offense this off-season was to throw the Manning. Steve Smith and Mario Manningham have stepped up big time for the offensive. Both have over 250 yards and two touchdowns through the first three games.

Despite the shutout last week against a terrible Tampa Bay team, I think the biggest question markthis team is defense. There are some key injuries, and they showed they are vulnerable to abandonment of points when they played Dallas.

Dallas Cowboys (2-1)
Next opponent: Denver

This team has done nothing to impress this year to me (and I'm not just saying that because I hate them). They gave up 21 points to the Bucs looked decent against the Giants (not hold), however, and not play well against a team with the Carolina EaglesA week defeated. Of the teams in the NFC East, Dallas is the only game with a legitimate team this week, travel to play in the 3-0 Denver Broncos.

Tony Romo has his own same rickety been signs of greatness, but sometimes make the same stupid mistakes he has in the past. His quarterback rating is 85.2 and his touchdown to interception ratio of 4:3.

The depth has the team at running back, what keeps them alive. Marion Barber and Felix setsJones fills in size. Jones goes down and fills Tashard choice in size. You only need a supply of talented running backs, which makes for their shaky quarterback.

Roy Williams has not shown he is a solid replacement for Terrell Owens, but at least you do not get the attitude. He has found only eight catches in three games and the end zone only once.

Washington Redskins (1-2)
Next opponent: Tampa Bay

To put it simply, this is not goodFootball team. Their only victory came in an ugly 9-7 victory against the Rams, the equally bad. After this game, they go next week and lose the Lions. Wow.

Jason Campbell threw for 340 yards against the Lions, but could not lead his team to a victory. In his other two games, he failed to remove more than 250 meters. He threw just three touchdowns in three games during threw two interceptions.

Clinton Portis has rushed for 183 meters in the first three games played and notfound at the end zone. Behind him, the next leading rusher with 65 yards Campbell.

Their wide receiving core is still moderate, and they lack the true number one. Santana Moss leads the team with 15 receptions for 219 yards and a touchdown.

Overall, the only team I worry about matching the Eagles to the Giants. However, NFC East games are always battles, and I think they should not take any team lightly. The Eagles are the only team in the department is not in one pieceDivision game yet, but they are seven weeks rattle off three in a row.
